“ Went for lunch today .It was awesome! Food is great, loved the decor. Easy parking and its clean. Hailee my waitress was so nice and helped me get a gift certificate for a neighbor. A, I will be back ”
“ Upon entering you notice the sunny colors and warm interior. We were told it would be approximately 20-25 minute wait, however they seated us in less than 10 minutes. The staff were all very kind and professional. We asked our waitress what she eats there when she orders and she recommended three things, one of which was the Molcajete, which fed us both with enough leftover for another large meal. It came with soft tortillas, beans, and rice. The chips and salsa were great, with the salsa being slightly sweet and delicious. We ordered the guacamole “dip” which was the same as the one made table-side, only it had been refrigerated, was perfect for 2-3 people and was a lot less expensive than the one they make at your table. ”
“ Mariam’s burrito was the best burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Came to Florida for my 3 year anniversary , restaurant was randomly recommended on the beach and it did not disappoint. When you look at the restaurant from the outside and open the doors it’s like your are entering Narnia, it’s a whole different world. Place is amazing!!! ”
“ We absolutely enjoyed our food at Pineapple Tequila. We were lucky enough to be there on the night where they had entertainment. The singer and the dancer created a wonderful atmosphere. Very entertaining. The music was not too loud and we were still able to communicate with each other at our table. The waiter was excellent and the manager stopped by our table at the end of our meal to make sure we were happy with everything. The Pineapple lighting & wall art we're just beautiful. You will absolutely have a wonderful time at this Mexican restaurant. Bring your family and friends you will not be disappointed. ”
“ In Florida on vacation. A buddy lives in the area ... I was looking for a margarita and some delicious Mexican food! This place has it! We were seated promptly and chips and salsa kept flowing. Table side guacamole was super delicious a must order if you are into that sort of thing. Our beverages were topped off if they got low and overall everything was fast! The portion was huge and the food was delicious!. The pollo loco was loaded with grilled onions and it was served with a cheese smothering was decadent! The server brought out my margarita....the best!!! Order one... you can thank me later if you try it! Its a must stop if in the area in the future. Thank you for being awesome! “ We recently celebrated my mom’s birthday at Pineapple Tequila in Venice. We had previously visited their North Port location—which was a great experience—and this one didn’t disappoint either. We ordered the chiles rellenos, which were delicious, the carne asada, generously served and flavorful, and the quesabirria tacos (listed under a different name on the menu). The tacos were very tasty, although we wished there had been a bit more consomme to accompany the three tacos. One of the highlights was when a staff member came to prepare fresh guacamole at our table. His friendly conversation and the experience of having it made fresh in front of us made it extra special. He was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our server, originally from the Dominican Republic, also gave us outstanding service—he was attentive without being intrusive, allowing us to enjoy a relaxed, unhurried meal. As Mexicans, we love to linger after meals ("sobremesa"), and he was very patient with us, even helping us take some great family photos. The food, the drinks, and the overall atmosphere were fantastic—truly one of the best Mexican restaurants we've found in this area of Florida. Now I understand why it gets packed during high season and on holidays! I definitely recommend visiting during the off-season to enjoy extra time and a more relaxed vibe. While the hosts at the entrance weren't the friendliest, once we were seated, everything changed for the better. My mom had a wonderful birthday celebration and we had an amazing and delicious day! ”
